Professional Kinesiology Practice (PKP), while incorporating quantum Kinesiology
methods, offering new paradigms for wellbeing.
An Introduction...
Kinesiology facilitates wellbeing and restores balance to the individual by
diffusing the cause of imbalance and providing ones' unique healing requirements.
Kinesiology accesses information relating to all aspects of the multidimensional
human being - our physical, emotional, mental and subtle energy systems, as
well as the full spectrum of body functionality.
A fundamental premise in Kinesiology is that we all have innate healing energy
(an intelligent life-force) which aims always to maintain optimal health and
equilibrium. Due to varying stressors however, there are often blocks to this
healing capacity and the body may then require help in achieving this balance.
The body has the wisdom to heal itself, and Kinesiology can access that
information in order to assist the natural healing process.
The answers lie within.
Kinesiology is a whole-being system of human care that can complement and
enhance all other health care systems, both conventional and complementary
alike. All facets of the human being can be accessed via Kinesiology.
About Us...
Amanda and Tony are graduates of the internationally accredited Advanced
Diploma in P.K.P. as governed by the I.C.P.K.P. (International College of
Professional Kinesiology Practice).
Both Amanda and Tony are professional members of A.I.K. (Australian
Institute of Kinesiologists) and A.T.M.S. (Australian Traditional Medicine Society).
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology (Kin-easy-ology) is a multidimensional system of human care that
utilizes manual muscle monitoring feedback – otherwise known as
'muscle testing' - to identify and correct imbalance in the whole person.
Kinesiology addresses all aspects
of health and wellbeing.
Kinesiology is a proven effective method that is grounded in anatomy and physiology
and has its origins in traditional as well as contemporary medicine.
It is completely natural and non invasive. Simple in its application, yet profound in its
scope. An unparalleled feature of Kinesiology is that it allows direct access to our body’s innate wisdom, whereby the cause of imbalance can be detected and our unique and priority healing needs can be established.
A muscle test may be described as a tool through which we can obtain information from the innate intelligence of the body. Muscle testing provides specific access to the subconscious levels of the body-brain. This form of communication is known as bio-feedback. Muscle testing is therefore a natural feedback system using an 'indicator muscle' (the primary muscle used for monitoring feedback), which supplies information via nerve pathways and the meridian system of the brain and body.
Muscle testing quite simply involves a muscle – commonly a limb – comfortably positioned in either a state of extension or contraction. Slight pressure is then applied to this muscle by the practitioner and the muscle responds in one of two ways in what is termed a “lock” (muscles remains strong)or an “unlock” muscle weakens). How the muscle responds and what the response is telling us depends entirely on the details of the session at the time.
The muscle test may be considered natures ‘diagnostic tool’ by which we can access the precise information required for the balancing process. The precision and accuracy of muscle testing ensures no guess work and no text book answers. Only knowledge from within.
A Quantum Health Science...
The list of imbalances Kinesiology can help with is virtually unlimited, however you do not need to have ‘problems’ to benefit. Kinesiology always works with you to achieve your intended outcome and so it is renowned for facilitating the accomplishment of specific goals and with assisting the individual to access untapped potential.
Some of the key catalysts for change include accessing and transforming hidden subconscious blocks such as limiting belief systems, unwanted sabotage programmes and suppressed emotional experiences. Thereby allowing the body/brain to assimilate and integrate the new positive formats of your choice, empowering you with greater freedom to be a conscious creator of your own life.
Here is a short list of some areas Kinesiology can help with:
• Stress & Anxiety
• Chronic & Acute Illness
• Fatigue & Lethargy
• Depressive tendencies
• Nutritional deficiencies
• Confidence & Self esteem
• Addictive behaviour
• Learning difficulties
• Fears & Phobias
• Allergic reactions
• Behavioural problems
• Weight management
• Cleansing & Detoxification
• Hormone / Biochemical balance
• Musculo-Skeletal disorders
• Life Path guidance / Goals
• Personal Development
• General Wellbeing
The field of Kinesiology may be put into specialist categories, each with their respective methodology. While the differing systems have varying corrective techniques, they all commonly utilise the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine for assessing and balancing the bio-energetic system.
A kaleidoscope of therapeutic approaches and remedies are among the practitioners tool- box. The priority healing requirements are always ascertained by the muscle testing, therefore the balancing process for each of us will be as unique and individual as we are.
Kinesiology is a multidimensional human science incorporating the most effective health care approaches of our time, offering new paradigms for wellbeing and providing quantum solutions for lasting change.
