Welcome to Hidden Treasures of Health
Situated in North Carlton, Hidden Treasures of Health is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practice. We offer acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, tuina, dietary, nutritional and lifestyle advice for the individual and family. We specialise in obstetrics and women’s health problems including; PMT, infertility, IVF, morning sickness, and general well-being during and after pregnancy. We are also able to assist with most other health problems and conditions ranging from general family health, children's illnesses and weight control to menopause, muscular-skeletal conditions and osteoporosis.
Our practice is based on a truly wholistic approach and our mission is to develop respectful and nuturing relationships with our clients to assist with their health and well-being.
About Us
Dr Helen Georgiou (BHSc TCM Hons, PhD)
Dr Helen Georgiou trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed a PhD by research.. Helen has been a lecturer and clinical supervisor at Victoria University for over 7 years whilst maintaining her clinical practice. Helen regularly attends PD opportunities offered through Chinese Medical and Western Medical organisations. Helen believes in a wholistic approach to healing. Often this requires changes in lifestyle. Helen offers treatment for all types of problems including infertility (male and female), morning sickness, pregnancy wellbeing, inductions and follow up post birth, pre and post IVF support, PMS and pre and post menstrual problems. Helen successfully works with client's pre and post IVF treatment and with men who have had vasectomy reversal. Helen's interpersonal style is direct and definite, yet caring.
