Dr. Emma Vanheems is a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner. She offers a professional and effective service providing each of her patients with warmth, care and compassion.
Emma followed her heart when she undertook the grueling study to become a Doctor of Chinese Medicine. Having preferred natural alternatives throughout her life, this move was a natural progression. Emma is now a graduate from RMIT University holding a double science degree in Chinese Medicine & Human Biology. Following this she pursued her studies completing a clinical internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital in China. Emma has a special interest in the treatment of Women's and Children's Health, Sports Medicine, Digestive problems and Weight Loss.
Emma applies her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology by effectively integrating it into her practice of Natural Medicine. She combines modalities including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Naturopathy, Nutritional Medicine & Massage Therapy in order to provide for you a safe, effective and natural treatment healing both the mind and body. Emma ensures that her Patients are active participants in their own good health and that together they work out a treatment plan that provides the best possible outcome.
