Homoeopathy is an exceptionally safe form of medicine which treats the whole person by stimulating the body’s own healing power to cure disease.
The basic principle of homoeopathic therapeutics is ‘like may be cured by like’. A simple example: if you drink coffee, it might keep you awake at night. Someone who suffers from insomnia (for reasons not related to coffee at all) may be prescribed a medicine prepared homœopathically from coffee.
Homœopathy can be useful:
• in treating acute illnesses such as colds and influenza or infectious diseases.
• in chronic diseases like asthma, arthritis, or allergies.
• with conditions such as depression or migraines
• in recovery from accidents or sports injuries
• in first aid situations.
Homœopathic treatment can be used in all stages of life: for babies and small children; for adolescents; for all aspects of women’s health and men’s health; and for the illnesses that accompany ageing.
