What is Hypnosis?
This is a perfectly natural state in which someone's conscious mind is relaxed and their subconscious mind is receptive to making the changes that are needed to be made to live a more fullfilling life.
How does it work?
The Hypnotherapist guides the person being hypnotised to a part of their subconscious mind. Both the therapist and the person being hypnotised interact with that part of the subconscious mind to make the changes that need to be made.
What is it like to be hypnotised?
A lot of people think that they won't remember anything that happens while hypnotised, or that they will be under the control of the hypnotherapist. None of this is true. Most people remember nearly everything that happens while in hypnosis, and the hypnotherapist cannot make you do something that conflicts with your values.
What you will feel is a different state of consciousness. Your body will be relaxed and your mind focused and receptive. You may feel like you are in a dreamy state. You will likely become more aware of how your subconscious is making you respond in ways you would rather not. People generally find being hypnostised a calming and relaxing experience that they are keen to repeat.
What is EFT?
EFT is the Emotional Freedom Technique - an extremely effective technique that can be combined with counselling, hypnotherapy or used alone to assist in the healing of emotionally based issues. The technique originates from the new field of Energy Psychology and involves the tapping of meridian points while focusing on the issue.
Jeremy has used this technique to successfully treat anxiety, phobias, anger, distress, fear, trauma, depression, abuse, sexual issues and more. The technique has a wide range of applications and clients feel a greater sense of relaxation during treatment.
