About The Practitioner
I am a qualified Naturopath completing my Naturopathy qualification at the Melbourne College of Natural Medicine in 2002. I am also a qualified Medical Scientist and have worked for over 20 years in various areas of medical science, including, Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science, both in Private Pathology and Public Hospitals. This extensive medical and research experience extends into my healing practice, as treatment strategies are based on validated natural remedies which ensure that you get effective and lasting results.
Due to my personal experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD children, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, this has led me to research these conditions so that I can offer the most effective natural treatments for these conditions. I also keep abreast of all new developments to ensure that all family members are treated with the most effective and safest treatments available. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
The incidence of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) has been steadily increasing throughout the years. ASD can be effectively treated with biomedical treatments. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
The most common behavioural disorder in children. It is estimated to affect 3 to 5 percent of school-age children. Medicating children for this disorder is unnecessary. If your chld has been diagnosed or is suspected of having ADHD, then consider food sensitivities, artificial colours and flavours, sucrose and excessive phosphate ingestion as these have been well documented to be a prime cause of this disorder. Treatment of intestinal parasites, gut dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies and food allergies need to be considered if your child exhibits ADHD type behaviour.
