Profile
A practitioner of Oriental Medicine with over 10 years experience in natural therapies, Kim brings a unique combination of the Oriental Healing Arts and body work together.

Kim’s approach to health is based on an understanding that every person’s requirements are different and she therefore sees the importance of tailoring the treatment to the client.

Through the application of the principles of Chinese Medicine, Kim draws on her deep understanding of the cause of disease and illness and by doing so assists the client to make the appropriate changes that may be required to restore balance and harmony.

It is the Taoist belief that we live in a universe in which everything is interconnected. What happens to one part of the body affects every other part of the body. The mind and body are not viewed separately, but as part of an energetic system. Similarly, organs and organ systems are viewed as interconnected structures that work together to keep the body functioning.

Kim understands the impact of daily life on all levels – emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. In her treatments, she takes into account all areas of the client’s life – including the lifestyle one leads, diet & nutrition, environment, stress and emotions.

The effects of a treatment are measurable a deeper experience of relaxation as well as increased vitality a major tonification of energy and most especially, the tools to restore your own state of health. This is achieved using one or more of the 8-limbs of Chinese Medicine:

• Acupuncture, Cupping & Moxibustion
• Chinese Patent Herbal Medicine
• Massage / Bodywork
• Oriental Nutritional Medicine
