| Profile |
How do you pronounce it? Kin-EASY-ology. There... It's easy!
Our brain is constantly running 'programs', signalling our muscles to do things like walk, run, and play sports, as well as breathe, talk and laugh etc.
The art of Kinesiology involves the use of gentle and non-invasive muscle testing techniques to find out about a persons well being.
Kinesiology identifies blockages in our bodies which prevent the natural healing process. These blockages may be the result of emotional trauma, unresolved stress, injury, nutritional or other factors. If the energy flow is interrupted then the whole body is affected!
Who Will Benefit?
Everyone! From the young to the elderly from the fit to the fatigued. You do not have to be unwell to feel the benefits of a Kinesiology balance. Whatever the symptoms, Kinesiology balances the body and puts it in the optimum state to heal itself, by removing negative stresses, from the physical, chemical or emotional states.
How It Will Help You:
Kinesiology will help you to reduce stress and pain, improve performance at school, work, home and in sports. It will improve: your relationships releive muscular and nervous imbalances detect sensitivities and nutritional deficiencies assist with psychological and learning disabilities and stimulate natural internal energies to release your untapped potential.
In some cases, on going pain could often be related to the stress a person puts on themselves due to a problem that has been left unresolved.
What To Expect:
The first consultation, Maria will take down your full history. Together you will work out the goals and priorities to work on. The number of consultations may vary depending on your circumstances, your state of health and well being.
Techniques That Will Be Used:
* Emotional Stress Release
* Meridian & Acupressure Points
* Reflex Point Stimulation
* Muscle Stimulation
* Visualisation / Guided Imagery
* Lift Technique
* Colour & Sound
* Chakra Balancing
* Nutrition / Addition & deletion
* Vibrational Remedies
* Essential Oils
What To Wear?
As a variety of muscles will be tested it is advised that comfortable clothing, that will allow flexible movement, be worn. Shorts, slacks or tracksuit pants are ideal. Shoes are to be taken off.
Do You Want Happy Feet?
Foot pain is NOT supposed to be normal.
Feet are NOT supposed to hurt.
Feet NEED Regular Attention!
Did you know that there are 26 bones in each foot? If your feet are not working properly, the information going to your brain may become confused, and will not send the correct neurological information to co- ordinate the rest of your body efficiently. This may lead to aches and pains in other joints, such as shoulders, back, neck and may cause tension headaches etc.
Feet must last us a lifetime and regular foot care makes sure that your feet are up for the task. With proper care, most foot and ankle problems can be lessened or prevented.
By having a series of 6 to 8 Foot Joint Mobilisation sessions, it will re-train your muscles and tendons, to be where they should be, and in turn keep each and every bone in your feet, in the correct place.
If you are wanting more...Kinesiology is then added to make sure that the whole of your spine (including coccyx—tailbone) is in alignment, as well as checking on your cranial (skull) bones are not jammed.
After all we do want “Happy Feet”
