I am a registered and qualified counsellor with a wide ranging experience in the helping professions. I have worked for NSW Health as a counsellor and various Non Government Organizations as a counsellor/case-worker for the last 5 years. I have also run a bodywork practice for the past 9 years.

I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, men`s issues, grief and loss, legacies of trauma, addictions including smoking cessation, chronic illness, (inc. HIV & Hep C), somatic/psychophysiological complaints, existential issues such as life purpose, life transitions, self-actualization and growth oriented concerns, and transpersonal issues such as spiritual emergence/emergency and the challenges of engaging in a spiritual path.
I work short and medium term with clients and bring an integrative and eclectic stance to the work utilizing various recognized counselling approaches according to client need.
My work is informed by the following therapeutic approaches: Person-centred counselling, psychodynamic/relational/attachment-based psychotherapy, EFT, (Emotion Focused therapy), gestalt therapy, mindfulness based practices, and body-oriented/trauma psychotherapeutic approaches.
I have a BA, (USyd), a Graduate Diploma in Counselling (UWS), a Certificate in Somatic Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Shiatsu Massage and am currently studying for a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy, (NRGI).
I am a Clinical Member of CAPA, Counselling and Psychotherapy Association of NSW (Member No. 3825), and am bound to the ethical codes of this association.
