Philippa began her study of alternative medicine systems some twenty years ago. She works as a geneal practioner treating the whole family from babies to the elderly and everyone in between. She has an interest in women’s health and in particular in the area of fertility, including pre & post natal care, birth preparation & if required, labour induction.
Philippa also practises Five Element Acupuncture. This is a potentially life changing system that focuses on emotional growth and development, treating the person on the levels of body, mind & spirit.
Philippa also offers the more traditional form of Chinese Medicine, treating a broad range of ailments using Chinese herbs, acupuncture, cupping, spooning & moxibustion.
Philippa has a diploma in myotherapy (remedial massage) and often uses massage therapy in conjunction with acupuncture to relieve a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. |
