Need help to improve your diet and learn about healthy food and optimum nutrition?
Roslyn is a qualified practitioner who will help you find an eating plan that incorporates eating healthy food in a relaxed way, without having to sacrifice your taste buds or your hunger.
She will assist you in developing healthy eating patterns that aren’t just a short term diet but provide you with the skills and knowledge to make healthy eating and active lifestyle a part of your everyday life without you feeling deprived.
Good nutrition is fundamental in the prevention and treatment of disease. Health is more than just the absence of disease it encompasses your whole being – body, mind, heart and spirit. We all strive to balance these and experience true health and happiness.
What is Nutrition Counselling or Food Coaching?
Eating a healthy diet can help to improve energy levels, increase concentration and productivity, reduce stress, improve your immune system and vitality and wellbeing.
Roslyn introduces clients to foods that assist the body to heal and promote wellbeing. Each treatment plan is made to suit the likes and dislikes of each person, along with their cooking skills, time pressures and lifestyle.
The initial consultation of 1˝ hours is generally required to take a thorough case history. Roslyn takes a holistic approach and consideration is given not only to your current set of symptoms but she will cover previous/present medical issues, family medical history and dietary history. Referral to a medical practitioner for blood tests and further investigation may be required in some instances.
Your treatment plan will include:
• Dietary adjustments and healthy, simple eating plans
• Focus on food-based healing
• Practitioner-only vitamin & mineral supplements, when required
• Personalised lifestyle advice
After 2 - 4 weeks (case depending), you will have a follow-up consultation where you will discuss your diet diary, changes in your health and your follow-up requirements.
Follow-ups will usually take place until you reach your health goals, this could be from 1 month up to 6 months depending on your condition.
Roslyn provides ongoing nutrition and diet education, advice and support at each appointment to help you reach health, happiness and wellbeing.
She can show you how to use food, dietary and lifestyle changes to assist with:
