Dr. Orloff became a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture following a desire to ease people’s pain and suffering with a proven and reliable method, unlike the apparent trial and error method of modern pharmaceuticals. Traditional acupuncture enables the body to look after itself, which in the long term, is more beneficial to the patient.
Dr. Orloff constantly undertakes research and study to find the most efficient and effective treatment available in order to heal his patient’s illness.
A current problem with many western medical clinics is that General Practitioners do not have time to explain much to you and you are left feeling like a number with a prescription for a packet of pills.
Dr. Orloff recognizes there is nothing more frustrating for you than not to be told about (or to know about) what is happening within your body. This is one of the reasons why he undertook training in both Eastern and Western anatomy and physiology, specialising in Chinese Medicine. He takes the time to explain to you, in simple language, what is happening to you and the reasons that have brought about your illness.
One of his strengths is in educating his patients, as a large part of health and wellbeing is about learning and understanding ourselves. Thereafter, you’ll be able to see where things have gone wrong, and in future, recognise the development of larger problems so that they can be corrected before they become serious. This will also help you with your general health and wellbeing. You will be able to distinguish the parts of your life that are having a negative impact on you, and then go about correcting them.
