Gentle and effective - Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine Massage, Cupping, Guasha, Moxibustion & Dietary guidance in a relaxing environment.
Tina spent four years completing her degree Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the University of Technology Sydney where she was educated in TCM and Western biomedical sciences. She continued her training with an internship in a Beijing hospital. She also holds a Certificate IV in Health, Fitness and Sports Training and has gained clinical experience in both remedial and Chinese massage. Tina continues to expand on her skills through regular involvement with the TCM community. She is committed to educating and motivating her patients to restore health, making the process enjoyable and enlightening.
Tina's approach is holistic and addresses all aspects of your health, diet and lifestyle to provide effective natural health solutions. Your treatment will be individually tailored according to your needs and may include:
- Acupuncture
- Herbs
- Massage
- Cupping
- Moxibustion (heat therapy)
- Guasha (scraping)
- Dietary advice
Tina also offers stretches and exercises to help with strength and flexibility. She recognises the therapeutic benefits of combining acupuncture and massage and regularly uses these together. Tina is experienced in treating sporting injuries and musculoskeletal problems and also has an interest in digestive conditions and women's health. She has recently been expanding her skills in Japanese style acupuncture using gentle techniques and achieving great results.
Some of the many conditions treated include:
- Respiratory including colds and flu
- Musculoskeletal
- Neurological
- Digestive including constipation and stomach discomfort
- Immune problems
- Pain
- Genital and urinary including UTI's and period pain
- Pregnancy related conditions
- Other conditions that do not respond to other therapies
Also fatigue, fluid retention, weight control, anxiety, depression, skin conditions and addiction respond well to TCM. The treatments give you a greater sense of well-being and more energy. You'll feel more relaxed and your muscles and joints are kept in good functioning state. They are fantastic as an adjunct to Western medicine and excellent for post-operative conditions and aiding rapid rehabilitation. In your session a treatment plan will be discussed so you can know what to expect from treatment and together we can quickly restore your vitality and quality of life.
