Kinesiology translates as 'study' of 'movement'. It works with a system known as muscle testing to assist in understanding and balancing blocks within the body. Kinesiology developed back in the early 1960s by Dr George Goodheart, Chiropractor who observed research published by Kendall & Kendall in the 1949 and the correlation of feedback from muscle testing. This feedback from the body may reveal valuable information which is then is used to restore health and balance. Kinesiology integrates the principles of modern health sciences with alternative and traditional medicines. Kinesiology works with the body, mind, emotions and spirit as one unified system. It enables the practitioner to uncover and then balance the causes behind our problems and symptoms. Kinesiology is gentle and non-invasive therapy.
