In applying trained methods of touch, massage facilitates relaxation & reduces stress, aids circulation, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion, and brings the body into physical and emotional balance. Massage is the deliberate application of touch that restores the physical balance of the body’s soft tissue through friction, kneading, percussion and the application of finger point pressure. Chinese Massage works primarily with acupressure points and the twelve main meridian or energy pathways along the body to assess and restore the body’s physical and emotional/spiritual balance.
