Massage from the Arabic word ‘masah’ means to stroke with the hand. In applying trained methods of touch, massage facilitates relaxation & reduces stress, aids circulation, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion, and brings the body into physical and emotional balance.
Massage is the deliberate application of touch that restores the physical balance of the body’s soft tissue through friction, kneading, percussion and the application of finger point pressure.
Sports massage combines different massage techniques to enhance sports performance and expedite injury recuperation. Sports Massage also assists in reducing muscle tension before and after training and is often a crucial component to any rigorous training program.
