Reiki
Rei – ki = from Japan, Rei: transcendental, universal spirit. Ki: energy, power.
Reiki is a form of healing in which the boundless energy of the universe is channeled through the practitioner into the body of the receiver so as to enhance their energy supply and promote their body’s innate capacity to heal itself.
By restoring the body’s energy levels and encouraging self-healing Reiki can restore a state of harmony and well-being, and assist in healing emotional and physical dis-ease within the body.
Reiki is not given, but rather made available. It can be received from a Reiki master, or self administered, with appropriate training.
